TourismOhio Spotlights Can’t-Miss Things To Do in Ohio This Summer
Annual top 100 list, events guide showcase memory-making attractions

(COLUMBUS, Ohio) – Just in time for the start of summer, TourismOhio is releasing it’s annual “100 Things To Do in Ohio this Summer” list.
The memory-making list is back with more than 60 new, can’t-miss items to check off this summer! Travelers can download the free checklist to help make the most of summer vacation planning and ensure they don’t miss a single exciting destination, event, or tradition all season long.
“There’s so much to see and do in Ohio during the summer that choosing which destinations to visit or events to attend can be a challenge,” said Lydia Mihalik, director of the Department of Development, which oversees TourismOhio. “The 100 Things to Do in Ohio this Summer list is the perfect guide for travelers looking to make the most of their Ohio vacation.”
Also releasing this summer is the new Official 2024 Ohio Summer Events Guide. The guide highlights five events in each of Ohio’s 88 counties and is now available for download on Ohio.org. Travelers can search by region and month for the best of Ohio’s unique events from across the state, all summer long.
“Research shows that many people visit Ohio for our incredible events,” said State Tourism Director Sarah Wickham, “We teamed up with our local partners to bring travelers a variety of events, including some hidden gems they might not know about, to help everyone truly experience the heart of it all.”
