Redskins, Trojans Race in Troy Twilight Invite
TROY- The Wapakoneta and Botkins Cross Country squads hit the course under the lights Saturday evening in the competitive Troy Twilight Invitational.
The Wapakoneta girls team placed 25th with 660 points and were led by Kenzie Schneider (15th; 19:32.4), Maci Neumeier (104th; 21:14.9), Skylar Good (279th; 23:43.8), Madeline Little (291st; 23:57.9), and Addi Schneider (310th; 24:21.3).
The Lady Trojans of Botkins finished 15th with 465 points. They were led by Brylie Greve (47th; 20:26.5), Grace Gutman (77th; 20:56.9), Amelia Greve (81st; 21:02.9), Addison Blindauer (124th; 21:31.9), Sophia Braun (281st; 23:45.1), and Kriston Wendel (319th; 24:38.2).
The Botkins boys team, who took tenth, was led by Carson Brown (20th; 16:13.4), Collin Doseck (66th; 17:00.5), Lucas Arnold (89th; 17:17.2), Carson Heuker (101st; 17:26.9), Wesley Wanger (122nd; 17:40.1), Ryan Koenig (142nd; 17:47.9), Wesley Gutman (203rd; 18:19.3), Owen Zimpfer (261st; 18:44.9), Aaron Steinke (269th; 18:47.8), and Aaron Jutte (295th; 19:01.7).
The Trojans are back in action on Saturday at the Versailles Tour de Sewer.
