Lady Redskins JV Tie Titans 6-6

WAPAKONETA- The Wapakoneta Junior Varsity Softball Team tied 6-6 against the visiting Ottawa Glandorf Titans in a Western Buckeye League game Friday night.
A triple by Olivia Allemeier got the Redskins on the board first. Another Allemeier triple and a single from Hannah Lee helped Wapakoneta extend their lead early in the second. The Titans flipped the game by scoring six runs on three hits and taking the lead. Phoebe Allen scored in the bottom of the fourth, leaving the game tied.
Faith Harbour stepped in the circle first for Wapakoneta. The freshman allowed six hits and six runs over four innings, striking out four and walking none. Allemeier drove the middle of the lineup, tallying two triples and three runs batted in. Paison Preston also collected a multi-hit game on Friday.Â
The Titans were able to string together six hits as a team. Many of the Ottawa Glandorf hitters were able to collect a multi-hit game against the Redskins.Â
The Lady Redskins Junior Varsity squad now has a 0-4-1 and is set to travel to Maria Stein and take on Marion Local at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
