Dietz Wins Nate Niekamp Invitational

CELINA- 20 teams gathered at the Mercer County Elks Saturday morning for the annual Nate Niekamp Invitational. 

Minster topped the team standings with 318 strokes, while Coldwater (332) took runner-up. The Trojans were 51 above par for fifth place. 

Individually, Botkins senior Ross Dietz was named medalist with a 71, earning one of three scholarships awarded. Other Trojan golfers included Carson Hueker (83), Treg Meyer (91), Will Dietz (94), and Will Monnin (95). 

Botkins is back in action on Monday versus Mississinawa Valley at the Shelby County Oaks.
