Botkins Volleyball Blanks H-N

BOTKINS- The Botkins Volleyball Team swept Hardin Northern in three sets 26-24, 25-15, 25-11 on Tuesday in a non-league game. 

Botkins’ Kaitlyn Meyer led the team with eight kills, while Peyton Platfoot was ten-for-ten on serve receive and had 12 digs. Jana Metz dished out 19 assists and three aces with teammate Madison Loy racking up five aces and 18 digs. Ella Brown and Stella Braun each contributed four kills. 

"We didn't play the cleanest first set but figured it out and came on strong for the next two. We served really, really well in that third set. I am proud of the team,” Botkins Head Coach Sara Brown stated. 

With the win, Botkins improved to 7-7 on the year and will look ahead to hosting number one state-ranked Fort Loramie on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. in a Shelby County League match.
